Cookie Policy

Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. This page explains which ones PPAYA uses, what each is for, and how to change your mind at any time.

Your choice

We do not set advertising cookies unless you accept them. Until you do, the Google tag runs in a restricted mode that stores nothing on your device. Rejecting them keeps the site completely usable, and you can change your answer whenever you like.

Cookies we set without asking

These are needed for the site to work or to keep it secure, so they do not require consent. Blocking them in your browser will break the features they support.

Strictly necessary cookies
CookieSet byExpiresWhat it does
ppaya_cookie_consentPPAYA6 monthsRemembers whether you accepted or rejected advertising cookies. Stored on ppaya.co.uk so your choice also applies on app.ppaya.co.uk and you are only asked once.
_GRECAPTCHAGoogle reCAPTCHA6 monthsSet on our contact and quote pages, to tell genuine submissions from automated ones. Without it we cannot accept form submissions.

Cookies we set only if you accept

These tell us which adverts bring people to PPAYA. None of them are set unless you accept, and accepting on this site also covers our app at app.ppaya.co.uk.

Advertising and analytics cookies
CookieSet byExpiresWhat it does
_gcl_*Google AdsUp to 90 daysRecord that you arrived from a Google ad, so we can tell which ads lead to genuine enquiries rather than paying for ones that do not.
_gac_*Google AdsUp to 90 daysLinks a Google ad click to what you go on to do on the site.
_ga, _ga_*Google AnalyticsUp to 2 yearsMeasures how visitors move through the site. Only set if our Google tag is configured with an Analytics property.

Third-party content

Our homepage embeds a video hosted by Vimeo. We load it with Vimeo's do-not-track setting enabled, so the player does not store tracking cookies or build a profile of you. Vimeo still processes technical information needed to deliver the video, which is covered by Vimeo's own cookie policy.

Controlling cookies in your browser

Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings, independently of the choice you make here. Blocking everything will stop the contact and quote forms working, since they rely on reCAPTCHA. Deleting our consent cookie simply means we ask you again on your next visit.

Changes to this policy

If we add or remove cookies we will update this page and the date above. If we start using cookies for a new purpose we will ask for your consent again rather than relying on an answer you gave for something else.
